Worship at Deer Park First



The music ministry at Deer Park First plays an integral role in leading our congregation to engage God during our worship services. Music is not about the “style” it portrays, but the power it has to share the Word and offer praise to Him. Our ministry is open to anyone that desires to serve and worship through singing, playing instruments, and multi-media opportunities.


  • Church Choir - open to all participants beginning in 7th grade through senior adults
  • Praise Band/Orchestra - open to musicians with instrumental performance experience and can read music, tab charts, or chord progression charts.
  • Praise Team - open to vocalist with solo or ensemble performance experience that are dedicated members of the church choir.
  • Media Team - open to anyone willing to serve in the capacity of audio, visual, lighting, and technology areas of interest. Previous experience is not required to serve on this team, and training will be provided.
