Children's Ministry
The Children’s Ministry of Deer Park First serves families with children from birth to 5th grade to be raised in a wholesome environment where they will grow in a safe community, learn the truth of God’s Word, and trained to follow after Jesus Christ.
Our aim is to provide a foundation of Christian teaching to help families raise their children to come to a relationship with Jesus Christ and live a life following after Christ and His commands.
Vacation Bible School
Start off the summer in a BIG WAY! Join us at Deer Park First Baptist Church for Vacation Bible School 2025.
Ages 3 (Birthday by February 1st) to
Grades 5th grade are welcome to join us for the
week of June 2nd - 6th from 6 pm - 9 pm!
We plan on having games, snacks, scavenger hunts, crafts, adventure, Bible study, worship in song, and so much more! Sign Up Today! We are inviting you, your parents, and your family, to join us on June 6th for our Family Night as we recap how we have found the Bigness of God in the Smallest of Things!
Crossover
Wednesday Nights we gather for a Multi-age Discipleship time where your children learn about the Bible, the life of Christ, and how the gospel is spread around the world.
From 6-7pm on Wednesdays we play
games, pray, participate in engaging activities, ask questions, and enjoy a fun snack.
We want your child to grow with a foundation of faith that places Jesus and the cross over everything else.
Powerhouse
Our Children's Church called PowerHouse meets twice a month during our 10:30 service on Sunday. Kids can expect a dynamic teaching environment which offers children a chance to interact during their worship time through games, songs, snack, a children's message and a dedicated time of prayer.

We believe that everyone has a unique and special way to share the gospel.
We hope to allow our children to have opportunities to start sharing the truth of God's word in creative ways such as a children's musical, or through leading in worship.
This ministry is open for grades 1st -7th Grade.
