Kyle was called by the Lord to serve as the Associate Pastor of Deer Park First Baptist Church in November 2021. Before coming to Deer Park First, Kyle served as a worship pastor and discipleship pastor at churches in the Houston area for almost 9 years. Prior to entering full-time ministry, he worked for three years as a teacher in the public school system. 

Kyle is married to his wonderful, talented wife Sabra. They have 3 beautiful daughters: Roslyn (Rosey), Bonnie, and Lucy, as well as a scary/sweet Doberman named Xena. In his free time, Kyle loves to travel, go to the theater, and try out new restaurants with Sabra. He also enjoys reading and sports. 

He graduated from Anahuac High School in 2004 and Texas A&M University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After the Lord called him into ministry in 2012, Kyle continued his education, graduating in 2016 with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) with a concentration in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently, he is finishing up a Master of Theology (ThM) degree in practical theology and a Doctor of Ministry degree (DMin) degree in leadership from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
