David was called to ministry in 1998 at Trinity Pines Baptist Encampment. After being called, He has served part-time at churches in Montgomery and Pasadena, Texas.  He has also worked as a full-time Junior High band director since 2004.  He began his ministry at Deer Park First Baptist in March of 2021 as their youth and college pastor.  David has been married to my beautiful wife since 2005. They have two kids, Aaron and McKenzie and  two dogs, Daisy and Stretch!  He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelors degree in music education in 2004 and from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2024 with a Masters in Theological Studies with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry and Preaching.
