The Lord called Jim to serve as Senior Pastor to Deer Park First Baptist in September 2019 after serving 14 years as Senior Pastor at a Church in the Fort Worth area.  He first felt Gods call into this ministry in 2003 while serving an active duty tour in the United States Air Force. As a Christian he has been in His Service from the first time he met Him. 

 

Pastor Jim is married to the lovely Sarah S. Tucker and together the Lord has blessed them with two boys, Kemp and Grant.  Kemp is married to a wonderful woman and they have given Sarah and Jim four wonderful granddaughters, Claire, Adeline, Daisy and one that will join us this coming September 2021.

 

His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration 1985, a Master of Science in Management 1995, and a Master of Divinity from SWBTS in 2007.   Currently, Jim is pursuing at Doctor of Ministry degree.
