STUDENTS

Thank you for your interest in our Youth Ministry. We are about three things:
Declaring Christ, Developing Believers, and Deploying Disciples.
Here you can expect Gospel-Centered Teachings, Gospel-Centered Community, Intentional, Disciple-Making Relationships, Community Outreach and Missions, along with fun and engaging gatherings.

Sundays we gather together to Develop more as believers and to grow deeper in the Scriptures. If you want more knowledge of the Bible this is where you need to be. We join together for a big teach in the beginning and then split off into interactive groups where we discuss the Scriptures openly and honestly.
These are age specific groups that meet on Sunday Nights in the gym. This is where discipleship takes place. Over the course of a year we journey through a curriculum called the Disciples Path. We will look at the life and discipleship methods of Jesus. Whether you are a new believer or have been in church your whole life, this is your next step in following Christ.
Glow in the Dark Dodgeball, One Big Party, Tribal Wars…. These are just a few things that we do to engage new students. Wednesday nights is the time to bring friends that may not have a church home or may not know Jesus Christ. You can expect a live worship band, solid, biblical, Gospel-teachings, and engaging games and events. I am passionate about Declaring Christ by teaching through books of the Bible, highlighting who Jesus is, what He came to accomplish, and how that transforms our lives.
The Core is the Student Leadership Team. The team is made up of students of all ages who show leadership potential, who serve on a frequent basis, who are in right standing with God and the church family, and who passionately desire to make other followers of Jesus. The Core will meet once a month with me to be equipped as leaders to impact their generation for the Gospel. Interested? Contact me to serve.
We have volunteers anywhere from college and young adults to parents to senior adults. You are never too old or too young to invest into the next generation. Our goal is to partner with parents in discipling their students, to build a bridge from families to the church, and to integrate the generations. All volunteers must submit a back-ground check, application, and interview with me before volunteering because we take the security of our students seriously and to make sure that one is a right fit for this ministry.
The goal and fruit of a healthy Student Ministry should be evangelism, serving the community, and Missions. We don’t believe that attendance is an accurate metric for success in Gospel-Centered ministry but rather how many are making disciples and living on mission. Our goal is to Deploy Disciples for ministry. At least once a year will we join with ministry partners and engage students in church planting. Once every other month we engage the students in serving the community. Daily we encourage the students to live life on mission by reflecting Christ, being a witness, and sharing the Gospel with those around them.

College is one of the most challenging and confusing times of our lives. Still discovering ourselves, finding a place to belong, and we have tons of questions about life, about God, and the Bible. We exist to engage the millennial generation, to get behind the greatest cause which is the Gospel, and to answer the questions no one is asking.

If you want to learn how the Bible meets our lives, then join us Sundays in the College Lounge where we discuss the Scriptures and how they apply to our lives.
We don’t want to just study the Bible but we want to live it out. Every month we are doing something different to engage our friends and campuses. Bonfires, Camping, BBQs, Paintball… We are always doing something to invite friends to and to live out the Gospel.
